Its recommended that with shrouded rifles that you go one size up to eliminate clipping. For example a .25 moderator for a .22 caliber BRK Ghost.
I personally like getting a .30 that will work for all smaller rifles I have. Theres a matter of preference here and obviously with a pistol or carbine the look could be wrong if its to long. Just saying if you have a rifle in .22 and .25 then you can just buy in .30 and it will cover the two you have and another you may buy in the future! I am a fan of the ODB mods on smaller calibers for target and pesting, seems the point of impact results are nicer and Donny FL's on larger calibers above .25 where the purpose starts to become hunting.
