Who is this and what are they? Precision Sport Airguns is a locally owned pcp (pre charged pneumatic) air gun retailer. It’s a high-power, high-end pellet/slug gun basically that has been around since the days of Lewis and Clark. They come from as small as .177 caliber all the way up to .82 cal and are powered by compressed air that comes from a fill tank or compressor.  These rifles and Pistols are used in Competitions ranging from the Olympics, Field Target, PRS, and are also used for recreational fun and even hunting. Why air guns? The culture of pcp airguns is a fun-loving group filled with enthusiasts that love to shoot, tinker, talk, study and have something to apply their talent too. Much like shooting a compound bow or muzzleloader even, you have to learn how they operate, what speed the specific pellet is most accurate at, what tuning delivers more power for slugs in longer range or what moderator (silencer) will get it done without scaring off all the nature. There is rarely instant gratification in this sport but there certainly is a sense of satisfaction in the figuring things out and the conversation that gets you there! When?
